Rise Against Hunger Packing Project

60 Volunteers - 120 Service Hours Logged

We broke our club record for the LARGEST SERVICE PROJECT with 60 volunteers for the Rise Against Hunger packing project. The 120 service hours were logged by members of the Lynchburg Morning Rotary Club,The Rotary Club of Lynchburg & the Rotary Club Of Forest VA. The result was over 13,000 meals for those in need in Haiti, 3,000 of which were donated by Kraft Heinz following the 2018 Rotary International Convention. All of this could not have been possible without the help of future Rotarians and friends. We raised the $3,000 needed for this project during our golf tournament in April, we presented the check on Thursday and packaged the food today. We are #PeopleofAction#BeTheInspiration #ServiceAboveSelf
