A Transition Ceremony Befitting 30 Years of Community Service

On Thursday July 6, 2017, Rotary Club of Lynchburg-Morning transitioned leadership teams for the 2017-2018 Rotary year.  The members of the newly formed board received a surprise as each board member was pinned by President Aaron Van Allen or President Elect LaShonda Delivuk.

Returning board members include Treasurer Steve Royer, Foundation Chair Chad Mooney, International Chair Nathan Wittkamp & Membership Chair Mike Lewis (not pictured). New board members include Club Services Chair Stuart Whetshell, Fundraising/Golf Tournament Chair Robert Goodman and charter member Carl Dewitt as our Community Services chair.

Immediate Past President Paul Rothfuss was honored with a commemorative gavel & pin.  The meeting concluded with the induction of Lynchburg Morning's 64th member Bethany Harrison, sponsored by Chad Mooney.  Bethany is currently serving as the Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Lynchburg office.  Lots of smiles, laughter and energy filled the room as the club optimistically looked forward to a year of celebration as the club celebrates its 30th anniversary since its charter in 1987.
