Suggest a Beneficiary for the 2020 Golf Tournament
here’s how it works
Each year, the Rotary Club of Lynchburg-Morning chooses charitable organizations in the Lynchburg region to support through our golf tournament proceeds. This year, we are looking to support up to 4 organizations in addition to our annual partners. Requests can range from $3-$10,000. If an organization has received a donation from our club within the last five Rotary years they are not eligible for funds from the 2020 tournament. Rotarians with a personal connection with the organization are required to submit the application on behalf of the non-profit.
While it is not required, we would like to grant funds to organizations addressing one of Rotary's six areas of focus: peace, disease prevention, water, sanitation & hygiene, growing economies, education and literacy, child & maternal health. Non-profit projects that can demonstrate a return on investment tend to have a higher rate of success.
Applications are due by Thanksgiving. Beneficiaries will be chosen at the December board meeting.
Before submitting the form below, check the list to make sure your beneficiary has not received funds over the past five years.
