What: Join us as a volunteer for the Hill City Slide and help make this event a huge success! Volunteers are essential for nonprofits like United Way of Central Virginia to organize large events. Slide Volunteers will assist with traffic control, helping sliders at the top and bottom of the slide, and ensuring everyone gets back up safely. Be prepared to stand for long periods and dress to get wet. Water, snacks, and a cooling zone will be available at the City Armory. Your help is crucial in bringing this fun-filled day to life.
